(More customer reviews)This is a very sturdy and attractive footstool. It's comfortable as either a stool or ottoman. It's a little heavy, but that's a reflection on its stability and good construction. The light blue color we got is pleasant and the surface is pretty easy to keep clean.
I would add a note of caution about the storage feature. The storage space is roomy and easily accessed by an adult by simply lifting the seat top. However, the seat top may be on the heavier side for toddler-age kids. If you have a toddler, you may end up using the storage more for stuff mom and dad want to get out of the way rather than as a toy chest for the kid's own use.
