(More customer reviews)I purchased this table set through a local retailer. When I purchased it, I thoroughly read the warranty which stated that the manufacturer would take care of issues with the tables.
Problems began before we even got them home. One of the side tables had a section where the stain is completely missing. The trunk table itself came from the factory with a giant cut on one side of it. There are horrible defaults all throughout the wood on all 3 tables. ANYTHING you place on top of the trunk table that is not cloth scratches the tables terribly. As for polishing them, good luck.
My attempts to contact Ashley have failed on the matter. They informed me I need to contact my retailer for THEM to fix them. To which the retailer replied "we don't make or repair furniture." All they could do was offer to refund a bit of my money back.
Bottom line- I've bought generic $80 furniture from Walmart that held up better than these tables. These tables are falling apart and I've had them less than a month. As is the expensive entertainment center I bought from Ashley.
I wish I had read reviews on Ashley furniture's lack of quality and lack of caring before I purchased.
