The design goes well with a cherry wood Shaker style stereo cabinet of similar size, that I also have in the family room, and the finish is only a shade or so lighter. The finish is redder than in the picture, although it's by no means dark, which happens to work well for me in this particular room.
All in all, it's a remarkably solid little piece of furniture, and at half price (supposedly because of being a discontinued item), even with the cost of shipping, it's a very good value for the money. I'm extremely pleased with this piece. It suits my needs well, and the fact that the game pieces came with it is a bonus. Also, the game drawers can be used as serving trays for snacks and beverages. It even came fully assembled. My best words to describe it are: versatile, solidly built, and good value.

The Tray Game Table is super convenient and doubles as an end table! The table contains 4 trays and each tray has a game in the tray. We include game parts too.
