This item is so poorly manufactured and of such low quality materials that it really is a challenge to keep it from disintegrating under its own weight during assembly. My trunk conveniently disassembled itself shortly there after, breaking into several manageable pieces when i tried to move it. Yes, I followed the assembly instructions to the letter, no I did not do something wrong, its just made from MDF a material which combines the weight of iron with the strength of boiled spinach .
