(More customer reviews)This is quiet the deal for a three piece set. All three pieces match with a natural wood / birch colour. Assembly is very easy: all the legs and tables were prefabricated with holes, screws and washers were lightly pre-lubricated and a tool was provided, there are VERY simple instructions but you'll see that its just a waste of paper since all that is required of the customer is screwing the legs in. Everything is smooth and clean cut, nothing is off or unbalanced and none of the tables have a wobble to them.
Hight and sizes are perfect for a modest living room. If you have a big, plush, over stuffed couch with tall padded arms this set might not be for you. So far my end tables have kind of big sized collectibles on display (a bit bigger than a basketball each) and I still have enough room to set down cups for drinks or various other miscellaneous items (i.e remotes, portable electronics, etcetera). The coffee table is spacious but far from dominating the living room, so far I have a full sized chess set on the coffee table along with a stack of textbooks to one side and and a stack of magazines to the other with room to spare for drinks or plates or whatever goodies someone might set down with while they watch a movie or something. So if you are looking for a small set of tables but yet big enough to actual place items on top of then this might be what you need.
If you are enticed to purchase this set than this last side note might be nice for you. Initially when the customer receives the package it's quite compact and dense so it has some weight to it but don't worry it's an easy carry and individually the pieces are relatively light and easy to move and reorganise. Everything is packed away nice and tight and every gap is padded with Styrofoam. The manufacturer or maybe the packaging company really cared about this set since the package has a "Fragile/Contains glass" sticker on the box even though there is no glass actually with the set. It was nice to know someone wanted to make sure it was delivered with care but alas mine was shipped with a small chip on the coffee table.
