(More customer reviews)We were a little worried about buying furniture online, but after an afternoon checking out expensive ugly coffee tables in furniture stores, we thought we'd risk it. I'm so glad we did! The coffee table was very well packaged and arrived in perfect shape. It was super easy to put together; it took me maybe 10 minutes. By far the most difficult part was lugging it upstairs with the FedEx guy and getting it out of all the packaging. It's really lovely, feels sturdy, and all the hinges (to fold it out to full size) look nice and work well. I'm really pleased with our purchase.
One other Magnussen review (of another product) mentioned the chemical smell. Our table did have a slight smell for a few days, but I never noticed it at all unless I walked into the room and sat right next to it. It wasn't bad at all. It's made in Vietnam, if anyone cares about that sort of thing.
