(More customer reviews)Good value. yes it does come in a flat box. Not recommended for sitting on. It only holds 125lbs. It can store up to 425 pounds(it says). No instructions on how to put together is sort of a drawback, a little visual might be helpful. There is masonite divider that has to be put into the center cloth pouch; which gives it rigidity. that was a pain as the edges of the masonite can hang up and tear the cloth so you kind of have to work in in VERY CAREFULLY. Then your good to go. I'm going to order another as well. It good to rest your tired legs on, and for storage. that's what I'm using it for. Good place for the remote(s) as well.
