(More customer reviews)The leather top is nice and soft, yet the cushion underneath is firm. The item arrived without any defects. Overall, the ottoman seemed well made. However, it is BLACK, not brown. The outside of the box even reads 'Black Legs'. All the wood, including the shelf, is painted black. The leather top is a slightly ligher shade, but I would call it light black, not brown. I checked if the manufacturer (Wholesale Interiors) makes two ottomans, and I perhaps was shipped the wrong one; but no, they just have this one. Maybe something was lost in the translation, Made in China.
