The expertly interlocked and tensioned supports give the table an elegance matched only by its firmness. Its broad surface, floating about a foot and a half off the ground, is spacious enough for spreading out the newspaper and your morning coffee, holding endlessly multiplying school books and your afternoon coffee, propping up your weary feet and your evening coffee, and there's even enough room for a casually intimate dinner for two or enjoying a nice hot cup of coffee before bed.
