As for the table set itself, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. To be honest, I can't even find used coffee table sets this cheap on Craigslist, so I was a bit skeptical about finding a set like this -new- on Amazon. It isn't a "name-brand" set or anything like that, but I could tell it was solidly constructed. There were no markings or scratches on the surfaces, all the edges were polished and everything was quite new and well-made.
Putting together the table set was also quite easy-- pieces were tagged with removable white stickers, and it came with it's own tools to put it together. I had the full set done in about 15 minutes.
My only hitch with this set is that one of the legs on the coffee table seem to be made a bit wider/thicker than the other legs. It's barely noticeable when you have the coffee table standing up, but if you dismantled the table and compared the legs side by side, one leg is definitely a bit wider than the rest. This is probably a bit of a defect on the factory's part, and to be honest, somewhat expected when you buy a coffee table set that's even cheaper than the ones at Walmart.
Overall: Good solid piece, great price and great shipping!
