I have them as traditional end tables and they are handsome and sturdy. Get baskets for the lower shelves, look really nice. And did I mention sturdy? Assembly was a breeze, even for me. The wood is heavy and a pleasing tone, very neutral. And Target.com, what more can I say about them? They really, really, really stand behind their products. If you ever have a problem, contact them. They will make it right, and at their expense.
