(More customer reviews)The table is very sturdy, made of solid wood, and not terribly difficult to assemble. The company I bought it from--NetRush--has absolutely outstanding customer service, especially from Terri and Chris.
I know about NetRush's customer service because Winsome Wood, the company that actually makes the table, has no idea how to properly package their merchandise. It wasn't until the third try that I was shipped a table top that didn't suffer significant damage during transport (Winsome Wood is located in upstate Washington, as is NetRush; another handy reason to buy through them). The issue lies in the upturned sides of the table top; they aesthetically define the table, but they're delicate. Winsome Wood doesn't take this fragility into account. There was styrofoam packing material the width of a manila envelope lining a cardboard box carrying a 30 pound table. Cracks were bound to ensue.
But, all is well in the end. Again, it's a solid wood, lovely table. The people at NetRush are spectacular and caring, and Winsome Wood, despite their shipping practices, build a quality product and remedy issues in a timely fashion. I recommend their products.
